90210 fans start a petition to save the show



In a desperate attempt to stop the inevitable, 90210 fans have taken to twitition to show the CW they're not ready to say goodbye. At least not until they get another season.




With the show now on it's 5th season and struggling with ratings, as reported by TVbythenumbers, fans are worried it'll be their last. Comparing the program's worth to both Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, viewers are asking for one more shortened final season.

Unfortunately, I don't even think a petition is going to save the show. It got 500,000 viewers and a horrible demo last episode! That's not good at all.

lol just let it go. the last episode had like 500k viewers. the show has no sense of direction. every time it's been a lead in for a show, that show ended up canceled (Melrose Place, Privileged, Ringer). The showrunners constantly change, so there's no consistency at all. the CW would be better off just airing reruns of the original on Friday nights.

Stupid. I understand/support fans trying to save a show if the network is being unfair, or if it has a devoted cult base, or if it's quality television that deserves it, or if it hasn't found an audience yet. But 90210 has had a fair run in a fair timeslot and it's gone a pretty long time for a (shitty) tv show about *high school* kids.

That said Annie turning her one relationship into a Belle du Jour Secret Diaries of a Call Girl thing is HILARIOUS to me.

Yup! I couldn't remember the exact demo, but I knew it was bad and that there like 500,000 total viewers for the last episode. It's dead. This is not going to save the show.

She's really nice in person, as well. When I saw her, I told her that I only watch 90210 because of her. It was a lie because I stopped watching 90210 ages ago but when I was watching it, it was only for her.
