Syfy is hoping that ordinary folks will bump up against extraordinary phenomena in Stranded, an unscripted series launching later this month — and TVLine has a first look at a new trailer.
Premiering Wednesday, February 27 at 10/9c and executive-produced by Jason Blum (of the Paranormal Activity film franchise) and Josh Gates (Destination Truth), Stranded sends three participants into a haunted location, where they document their experience with hand-held cameras (supplemented by strategically placed security camera footage).
During their confinement, the subjects must (hopefully!!!) contend with increasingly pervasive feelings of fear and desolation, all caught on videotape.
The first team of three looks for the fright stuff at Star Island in New Hampshire. Other destinations during the six-week series include Seaview Terrace in Newport, Rhode Island, and the West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundville, W. Va.

I hope that this is good. I loved Fear back in the day and was so mad it didn't last long enough for me to be old enough to be on it. Have you ever spent the night somewhere that was haunted? Would you if you were given the chance?
SyFy's new reality series 'Stranded' reminiscent of MTV's 'Fear'

It was on MTV. It wasn't a survival game either it was a prank show.
My ex-girlfriend and I stayed at a supposedly haunted place near Gettysburg called Cash Town Inn (Ghost Hunters on Syfy did a show about it). It was built in the late 1700's, and is supposedly pretty haunted. We even stayed in the "most haunted" room, #4. We set up her camera each night and let it film the room while we were sleeping. We didn't find anything on the recording, but one afternoon while we were taking a nap, I KNOW I felt someone poke me in the leg. It felt just like it! I was a little creeped out by that, but it didn't stop me from taking my nap, damnit.
So then, on one of the nights we stayed up late, just chatting on the porch of the inn, we had an experience. It is pitch black all around the inn because it's so far out in the country, so no street lights. The porch was lit up, but that's it. So we were just sitting there and all of a sudden we hear this *BANG* on the side of the building. None of the other guests were up, and no one else was around. It freaked us out so much that we literally ran into the lobby after unlocking the front door. We don't know what it was, but it scared the hell out of us.
Sorry for tl;dr but I love me a creepy post!!
Anyway, we were on the fields around dusk and there had been a thunderstorm. I don't remember this but my sister said when the sun came out/set, thousands of fireflies flew up from the fields into the mist.
We also found bullets and canon shot. Such an amazing place.
Up for this because I just came home from a Maroon 5 concert and I'm still pretty wired from it ^_^
On another note, things in my house keep getting knocked down with no one being around it. nbd.
I went in December and stayed alone during Xmas eve doing laundry, and I took the dog everywhere with me. I was so damn tired at one point that I was like fuck it, I'm gonna take a nap, ghosts be damned. I stood in the middle of the hallway and just said, "Please don't scare me," and went into the room to sleep (with the dog right besides the bed lol). I was super uneasy, though and would wake up every five minutes. I didn't hear or see anything, but your own brain makes you psych yourself out.
