'Buffy' Star Emma Caulfield has Twitter War with Joss Whedon Superfans

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Emma Caulfield (also known as Anya or Anyanka on the show) took part in an argument on twitter last night with rabid Joss Whedon fans, after receiving angry replies regarding her comment that Joss Whedon was not the first writer to kill off major characters.

Emma responded to several of these angry tweets throughout the night, before blocking 30 of her followers who were engaging in the argument. (Read from bottom to top):

The entirety of Seasons 4 and 5 are awful. Joss completely betrayed Angel and Cordy's relationship when he turned her evil and suddenly we were forced to endure those ridiculous Cordy/Connor scenes. I can't believe he had the balls to even go there.

At least Charisma has publically addressed that she agrees with fans about how awful those seasons were. I'm pleased that fans know that she wanted to come back, but the writers (aka Joss) ruined that. What an awful way to end what was initially a great show.

Your icon... did you know that Kate Winslet was Nolan's first choice for Mal? She declined it, saying that she couldn't see herself as the character.

I didn't know that. but I'm really pleased that they cast Marion. She really layered the film as a femme fatale figure. One of the main reasons why I like the film so much. Such a tragic character
