'Buffy' Star Emma Caulfield has Twitter War with Joss Whedon Superfans

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Emma Caulfield (also known as Anya or Anyanka on the show) took part in an argument on twitter last night with rabid Joss Whedon fans, after receiving angry replies regarding her comment that Joss Whedon was not the first writer to kill off major characters.

Emma responded to several of these angry tweets throughout the night, before blocking 30 of her followers who were engaging in the argument. (Read from bottom to top):

I tried to do a rewatch of Angel, and was super excited about it then I got to season four and couldn't put myself through it.

It wasn't Charisma's fault at all. They could have done so much more with her character and/or hid her pregnancy.

I skipped season four completely (and part of three as well), then moved onto the last season with Spike. Which is about the only angel season I liked.

I loved seasons 1-3 of Angel. Of the two shows, I preferred Angel. I really loved Darla, Cordy, and Fred.

Fred ended up being one of my favorites from Angel. I saw Amy Acker in Person of Interest lately. It looks like she hasn't aged at all. (she was also in season 1 of SPN)

I also liked Gunn. (I was so excited when I saw J. August in Warehouse 13. I want to see more of him!)

Amy Acker really hasn't aged at all. lol I saw her on Once Upon a Time last year and she didn't look any different than when she was on Angel.

lol, she really doesn't. Some people have all the luck I suppose.


DB on the other hand...he's definitely aged, not badly, but not well either. You're still able to recognize him, but he doesn't have that lovely baby face of his anymore. (I suddenly flashed back to him in the crow)

You can definitely see that he's aged a lot on Bones.

I think Charisma has also aged really well. So has Gina Torres.

I personally find DB way more attractive on Bones, IDK on Buffy/Angel he didn't really do it for me

He always had that pained, sad look on his face. Or he tried to look smouldering. But both didn't work for him I think.

I always taper off at season 4 whenever I rewatch the series. I've never even seen the last half of season 5 because it's such a mess.
