'Buffy' Star Emma Caulfield has Twitter War with Joss Whedon Superfans

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Emma Caulfield (also known as Anya or Anyanka on the show) took part in an argument on twitter last night with rabid Joss Whedon fans, after receiving angry replies regarding her comment that Joss Whedon was not the first writer to kill off major characters.

Seriously, Joss killing everyone you love is supposed to be a JOKE. I mean, ffs Xena and Hercules killed off main characters before Buffy and I'm not still screaming about Rob Tapert.

Yeah, I am so confused about it. Especially since she doesn't seem upset that she was killed off.

If I remember correctly she asked to be killed in the finale. Why are people upset? She spoke the truth, and I don't know - sometimes you have to kill off characters.
