I'd love it. I'd be the reclusive princess since I enjoy spending my time indoors as much as possible, so I'd never worry about the press. I'll wave out a window at them every so often. I'd have a lot of cats running around the palace with me. I'd probably have a surrogate live with us and pop out all my kids for me. She'd have to be nanny/surrogate, actually. Whatever, she can be his mistress since the prince would probably not be attractive and I'd be too busy taking pictures of my cats.

You would have to go out and open things though, and be a patron of various charities and stuff, while dressed sensibly.

Anne has it on the ball. She just refuses to be interesting enough for them to pursue her much. "Look! I am wearing a 30 year old dress! I had crisps at my wedding! I have not changed my hair since 1967! TROLOLOL!"
