I'm sure there's a novelty factor to 'wowee I'm a princess' (esp. for all of us who grew up with Disney movies and whatnot) but I think it'd get real old really quickly - it'd be fun for maybe a month, tops. The money probably wouldn't stop being fun, but the constant public scrutiny . . . ? Hell no.
If I was going to be a gold-digger /if I was hot enough to be a gold-digger I'd go for a geeky tech mogul or an oil baron tbh. All of the money, probably not stupid about wasting it à la athletes/actors/musicians + much less public scrutiny.
