Marion Has Terrible Taste In Women

Marion Cotillard is "totally in love" with Best Actress fave Jennifer Lawrence, according to the French star, who won the award in 2007 for her role in La Vie En Rose.

Cotillard was thought to be in with a chance herself for her role in Rust and Bone, but failed to gain a nomination and is apparently prepared to leave the battle to Jen and fellow nominee Naomi Watts.

Asked about her performances of the year, she said: "Naomi Watts in The Impossible. Oh my God, prepare your tissue box. I didn’t know anything about the movie except it was about the tsunami. She totally killed me. And I’m totally in love with Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a prodigy. She’s 22, it’s insane."

Revealing to The Metro that she was impressed with Oscar fave Jen, nominated for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.

Despite being a relative outsider, Naomi got another vote from Niicole Kidman, who put the star alongside Emmanuelle Riva as the woman she wanted to win.

Youngster Jen is the current favourite to win Best Actress at 4/7, with Emmanuelle Riva moving to second favourite at 3/1 ahead of Jessica Chastain, who had previously been seen as the girl to beat Jen.

Her performance was accurate but it had no depth. I'm sorry but it was one dimentional, there was no passion inside her, no motivation. Even when she was manipulating him it wasn't subtle.

Some mentally ill people don't have depth, though. Some are very one dimensional. You make it seem that to be mentally ill you have to be a certain way. Some people are just "crazy" and it comes off nonchalant.

You make it seem like because she doesn't seem like the mentally ill people YOU'VE come in contact with, that she's not doing it right. Some people ARE just dead inside.

But the character is not supposed to be dead inside. There is a BIG difference.
