Marion Has Terrible Taste In Women

Marion Cotillard is "totally in love" with Best Actress fave Jennifer Lawrence, according to the French star, who won the award in 2007 for her role in La Vie En Rose.

Cotillard was thought to be in with a chance herself for her role in Rust and Bone, but failed to gain a nomination and is apparently prepared to leave the battle to Jen and fellow nominee Naomi Watts.

Asked about her performances of the year, she said: "Naomi Watts in The Impossible. Oh my God, prepare your tissue box. I didn’t know anything about the movie except it was about the tsunami. She totally killed me. And I’m totally in love with Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a prodigy. She’s 22, it’s insane."

Revealing to The Metro that she was impressed with Oscar fave Jen, nominated for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.

Despite being a relative outsider, Naomi got another vote from Niicole Kidman, who put the star alongside Emmanuelle Riva as the woman she wanted to win.

Youngster Jen is the current favourite to win Best Actress at 4/7, with Emmanuelle Riva moving to second favourite at 3/1 ahead of Jessica Chastain, who had previously been seen as the girl to beat Jen.

I know what mental illness is, thank you very much. One defining characteristic is that it can take pretty much any form depending on the person and the context, so simply having a mental illness at some point in life doesn't make us an unquestionable expert on the subject.

No, of course not. BUT bringing NO DEPTH to the character and looking dead in the eyes does

We'll agree to disagree, I guess.

Jessica doesn't even deserve a nomination for she had nothing to do throughout the whole movie but any other actress would have overacted all the scenes and she didn't. Besides, she is playing a real person and the fucking Academy loves that shit

Jessica is NOT playing a real person. It's BELIEVED that she's a composite of several different women, but even that isn't confirmed. And even if she WAS a composite character, I'm sure Jennifer's character is as well...most characters are based on real people

The Academy believes so though because the marketing campaign is "the woman who caught BL" so people eat that shit up.

Still I don't know why they nominated her. I mean, I understand but still, her character just serves the story, she's just another character, if you take her character out of the movie, the movie would keep going.

They should have nominated BL lol

Some mentally ill people look dead in the eyes, though. There's no box in which "People with mental illness" fall into.

And some mentally ill people DO just scream and shout as part of their ailment. It's a vast world.
