POPriah Carey Returns With New Song "Almost Home" [Full]



Now everyone, put your bias aside, I want you to hear the POP in Mariah that has disappeared since 1997. Mariah has done RnB and Soul for almost a decade and now she is going back to claim her Pop throne. "Almost Home" sounds like it has Kelly Clarkson's pop beats and Selena Gomez's sweetness. Mariah is gonna slay 2013 with "Almost Home" for Disney's "Oz: The Great and The Powerful"and the promo on American Idol each week. What do you think of "Almost Home"??

Maybe it will grow on me, but I'm not really feeling it. I hope this is just for the soundtrack and not what the album will be like.

I'm with you. It's already growing on me a bit but the production is so pop and I wasn't expecting the verses to be minor. The bridge and pre-chorus are nice though, and the outro we already heard. We'll see!

I find this whole 2010-2013 pop mix a new sound for Mariah and I find that she is able to rock this new song if the mastering was done a little better it'd be perfect.

I do prefer her RnB songs more than anything tho , Butterfly is what sealed the deal for me
