I'm more concerned about there being a new lady doctor, while O'Hara is absent in both the behind the scenes special and the trailer except for a short little glimpse where she is seen video-chatting with Jackie and the girls...they better not sideline her.

Yeah, I feel like everything I read is either about Edie or Mearit (Zoey). I think people in the industry and critics just take Eve Best/ O'Hara for granted.
I LOVE this show so fucking much. It's still unclear to me why it's regarded as 'comdey' in awards shows So bobby cannavale left? He was so amazing and annoying in this.
I think I remember there being a behind-the-scenes-picture of season 5 where Bobby Cannavale was in a group photo, maybe he wasn't available and only did a small guest spot to wrap his storyline up? I hope he's not just gone like Momo in season one. I must say I'm already disappointed that everyone is simply being rehired. Makes the consequences of last season redundant.
I'm having trouble remembering what happened in the finale, but didn't his son OD at the end? Maybe he's in it for one or two more episodes and then goes to another hospital or something.
Okay, I had to go read the wiki for the last season. I feel like it's been forever since I watched it. I'm really excited about this "new chapter" for Jackie. :)
Oh but where the hell is O'Hara??? I will cut a bitch if she is MIA the entire season.
O'Hara seems to be in Europe or something, because she is seen videochatting with Jackie and the girls in the trailer. I doubt they'd bring Eddie and Gloria back, but get rid of O'Hara, so she's probably on maternity leave for the first few episodes and has little screen time, just so the writers have time to establish the new characters? Or at least I Hope so, because I love O'Hara and don't want her role to be diminished.
Katie Finneran is the bestest. her comedic timing on WF was pure gold. never forget!
oh so she's still technically in the show? so it's not Eve Best who's really pregnant irl right? it's just the storyline? was there supposed to be some major change? I never did like that Mike Cruz guy but these new characters don't seem as interesting especially that new female doctor. the actress sounded really daft to me.
I miss United States Of Tara too. It did have a good ending though.
I'm happy Nurse Jackie is still going though, even though at the time Tara got canned, I would have prefered for Tara to stay on the air, because it was the superior show at the time. However, last season of NurseJackie really redeemed the show.
