Eurovision 2013 - Italy's choice

Tonight Marco Mengoni won the Sanremo Festival with his song "L'essenziale" and was chosen as Italy's competitor for Malmo 2013.

lol i went to university with him. well he's younger than me and obviously dropped out to become a singer, but we had a couple courses together. he's very pretty irl and dumb as hell.

roma. i don't even know if he ever took any exam cause it was very close to x factor. or maybe i'm getting dates/times mixed up cause time has gone by and i have a shitty memory.

He used to sing karaoke in this small place I used to go with my husband during some of our first dates.
I couldn't believe it when he won x-factor.

lol my mum is obsessed with x factor so when he was on the show and he first appeared i was like 'uhm i know this guy'
then he got huge etc, but i see he's got some hipster/alternative friends and he sometimes pops up in some snobbish places (i used to go w/friens or for work) and no one ever has a clue who he is and people look at me weird like 'how do you know who this guy is' idk if he enjoys the no1currs-ness or not.

The songs they wrote for him suck a lot, but he's got a great voice and he wrote some good tunes last years. And yeah, he's hot.
