Well but the prologue of ADWD was pushing the skinchanger thing pretty hard. So uh, I think that Jon will be safe because he'll warg into Ghost and his mind/soul will be safe in there until Melly brings him back. And then when Melly brings back Jon's body, he can warg back into it.

Cat didn't warg into anyone so theoretically her mind/soul/whatever wasn't preserved.

Poor Cat. The Starks sure are gettin dragged into the dirt, stuffed into the fridge, plucked out of the fridge, dragged in the dirt some more, held underwater til they almost drown, then dragged back to stay in the fridge and die aren't they?....
angelmonster Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 05:27 am (UTC)
GRRM really needs to cut at least ONE of them a break already, geez.

wonderwomanhero Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 05:36 am (UTC)
cant tell if grrm has hateboner for starks or wat

I really believe that Sansa will survive the series.
And from reading theories from previous ONTD GoT posts, I'm convinced Arya is going to die.
wonderwomanhero Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 05:46 am (UTC)
But I'm curious about Arya, because apparently GRRM's wife joked that she will divorce him if he kills her off or something?
khlassique Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 05:53 am (UTC)
I do too- stanning aside, I just cannot imagine her being set up to die. She's learning the game, she's played the game since she was 13. She's a survivor.

Arya's arc has been set up as letting go of one's identity (to the point of, imo, death), and the "they'll find you in the spring, clutching your needle between your fingers" line from AGOT.
angelmonster Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 06:25 am (UTC)
But see that could also mean they find her, alive and triumphant, clutching her sword between her hands. I am an Arya stan :-(
khlassique Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 06:59 am (UTC)
as a sansa stan and someone who enjoys arya a lot, I want both of them to make it out alive and go to winterfell together. I WANT TO BELIEVE
angelmonster Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 06:27 am (UTC)
I want Arya to live, if she dies I want to to only happen after she has done something that changes everything. Like defeating the white walkers or saving someone important who becomes king or queen. I am just really tired of all the abuse she goes through, she is one of the better character IMO.
destructo_ray Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 12:03 pm (UTC)
Sansa's definitely going to make it. Homegirl is a survivor and a half! I think Bran and Rickon have a good chance as well.
jaimelannister Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 04:50 pm (UTC)
But I thought the rules of warging were that you can warg into an animal once and if your body dies you're stuck?
fauxkaren Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 06:55 pm (UTC)
Well you can warg into and out of animals. It's not a one time thing. But if your body dies while you've warged into another animal then you'd be stud. But if your body is resurrected then theoretically you could go back into it, none the worse for wear!
jaimelannister Re: Spoilers for ADWD16th-Feb-2013 07:04 pm (UTC)
Huh, okay. I choose to believe this because I want Jon to be okay partly because I like him and partly for Jon/Sansa.
