Canadian pop legend Bryan Adams and Alicia Grimaldi have welcomed a new baby girl into the world, his rep told Us Weekly. The duet have named the baby Lula Rosylea, who joins her big sister, Bunny, who is 22 months.
Adams said: “Lula Rosylea decided to arrive at tea time. Rosylea is cockney-rhyming-slang in London for ‘a cup of tea’ and the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent’s song ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula.’ ”
The twosome — who live in London — said via Twitter: “Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Baby and mama are doing well.”
Adams, a notoriously prickly army brat, is best known for hits including Heaven and Summer of ’69. The singer has reinvented himself as a society photographer.
He's 53, btw.
