Most Romantic Quotes: 14 Famous Love-Filled Movie Lines

Love is always so much better in movies. The sex scenes are never awkward, the perfect Coldplay song is always playing, and everything always works out in the end. Best of all, the love story in cinema never involves awkward conversations or misintrepreted text messages -- from "Jerry Maguire's" famous "You had me at 'hello,'" to Casbalanca's iconic "We'll always have Paris," the romantic lines in movies are always spot on.

In honor of Valentine's Day, we've compiled fourteen of the best romantic lines from movies. Click through below and let us know your favorites in the comments.

"You Complete Me" And "You Had Me At Hello" - "Jerry Maguire"

These iconic lines were a team effort from Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger in "Jerry Maguire." After a quick marriage, and rocky relationship, and professional troubles, Jerry (Cruise), returns to Dorothy's (Zellweger) house to win her back. After beginning his speech with "hello," he tells her, "You complete me." Dorothy then makes hearts melt by simply responding "You had me at 'hello.'"

I love Romantics Anonymous.

I feel like no one in the world has seen Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and it is SO CUTE and SO GOOD. More people need to see it. Amy Adams and Frances McDormand are both awesome in it.

I love all your other picks too (especially Sense and Sensibility) but haven't seen Romantics Anonymous. But I will have to check it out on Netflix since we seem to have similar tastes!

Sry for the late reply bb, but IA about MPLfaD. It's completely adorable and just...happy. I wish I could find more movies like it, but it seems like everything follows the same formula. =(

If you haven't seen Romantics Anonymous yet (as of my reply), I'm sure you'll love it. It's just two little awkward turtles being awkward and falling in love (awkwardly) lol ;-) If you have seen it, isn't is hilarious and endearing?!

What other movies do you enjoy? I'm sure you have some great recs too =D

Big Eden is my favorite, and my favorite movie altogether. It makes me so happy and it has absolutely the most perfect ending ever with the best use of a song in a movie EVERRR. Every time I watch it I want to start it over from the beginning. That's the only movie I've ever watched where I automatically wanted a sequel lol, just to see more of the characters. And I always wish I could live there. :)

I just noticed it has Pike's name in my icon, I've had this for years and never bothered reading it lmao

Jerry MacGuire is not a romantic movie. By the time Tom Cruise comes back and actually says those lines I was like "neither of these people really love each other, why is this supposed to be romantic?" Casablanca, though >>>>>>

My fave romantic lines are
"Death can not stop true love. All it can do is delay it for awhile."
"I'll never doubt again."
"There will never be a need."

from The Princess Bride

and "I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly" at the end of You've Got Mail when Tom Hanks shows up.
