Charlie Sheen offered to pay for half of pal Lindsay Lohan's dress for amfAR Gala

Lindsay Lohan has reached a new low. Fellow controversial actor, Charlie Sheen offered to “go halfsies” on her dress for the amfAR Gala in New York City on Feb. 6, according to Us Weekly.

Hours before the 26-year-old “Liz & Dick” actress walked the red carpet at the affair, Sheen, 47, called in some help from celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch to ensure Lohan was dressed for the event.

“Never in a business like this do you see a celebrity pay for another celebrity,” the stylist told the magazine, confirming the former “Two and a Half Men” star called him personally and not an assistant. “He’s very considerate.”

The outcome? LiLo was adorned in a beautiful nude and silver beaded fringe gown by Theia and accessorized with a hooded fur by Mendel.

Lohan, who’s reportedly been living tucked away in her mother’s Long Island home and sleeping in her old bedroom, wasn’t even invited to the amfAR Gala but showed up any way with Saudi oil heir and film producer Mohammed Al Turki.

Wonder what she would have been wearing if it hadn’t been for Sheen’s help, who last year offered to give $100,000 in aid to cover her tax debt, which the actress reportedly refused.
“Charlie has a long history of helping out his friends in many ways, and this is just another example of that,” his rep told E! News.
