HBO’s Game of Thrones has become renowned for its violence, gore, and graphic content, but soon fans will be able to get their hands on a softer (and more adorable) side of the series.
New Game of Thrones merchandise will be released by Factory Entertainment in the coming months. The company procured the license to produce toys, miniatures, and other collectors items based on the HBO series in January, and has debuted their first products at Toy Fair 2013.
The toy line currently includes incredibly adorable direwolf plushies, in addition to three plush dragon eggs. Hatching by fire not advised – though we can’t help but hope that little cuddly dragons are also in the pipeline! In addition to the plushies, there are also glimpses of Game of Thrones throw-pillows emblazoned with family sigils – a perfect House-warming gift, we think. Check out images of the embarrassingly irresistible merchandise right here:

Though HBO and other licensed companies have produced plenty of Game of Thrones-inspired merchandise since the series premiered, it’s great to see something a little more light-hearted than tee-shirts, beer steins, and replica swords. The plushies, pillows, and other toys are expected to hit stores around summertime, possibly coinciding with the conclusion of Game of Thrones’ third season.
Season 3 of Game of Thrones will tell over the events of approximately half of A Storm of Swords, the third book in A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. The season will premiere on March 31 on HBO.
(Also, here are some Game of Thrones figurines from Toy Fair)

Oh god I want all of it (except Tyrion, overrated little tool). Oh and Funko, where the hell is my Melisandre/Stannis/Davos/Sansa figurines?......

In short: it is absolutely possible to dislike Tyrion.
so
so
many reasons to hate him
and parts of tumblr
Another character this is true of is the Hound, whom a lot of people here claim isn't even popular when he's probably the biggest non-POV fan favorite in the entire ASoIaF series. Through the looking-glass~
also that little throne figurine <3

semi related: I can't find any official LOTR maps that don't have LORD OF THE RINGS PETER JACKSON NEWLINE CINEMA on them so I'm probably going to drop $50 on one from etsy sometime. ugh.
Yeah, same. I'm not one for logos being plastered all over merchandise. It can be done in a way where it's recognizable without being super huge and obnoxious.
PERFECT CAST IS PERFECT.
I kinda want to make an interview post, but I'm also feeling really lazy. Lol. Like, too lazy to type.
I'll wait until later because I don't want to take away from this post. :)
make the post tomorrow imo ;)
