I haven't read any of Weir's fiction. I've only read her non-fiction and I think her non-fiction is gr9.

Katherine Swynford: The Story of John of Gaunt and his Scandalous Duchess is really good! I also liked her general book about the War of the Roses, Lancaster and York - The Wars of the Roses.

Thanks. I know almost nothing about the wars of the roses, so that might be a good place to start

Have you read her Isabella, She-Wolf of France one?

I own it, but I actually haven't read it yet!

Have you read it? Is it good?

Really good tbh

It's a little biased but she puts a lot of detail into it. I don't really care either way, it's a book about Isabella and they're aren't many on her or Matilda, and they're the most interesting (along with Elizabeth W, Eleanor and Margaret of Beaufort obv)
