Elijah Wood: 'I was most starstruck by Radiohead's Thom Yorke'
Elijah Wood has revealed that his most starstruck moment to date was meeting Radiohead's Thom Yorke for the first time.
The Hobbit actor is a huge Radiohead fan, and has previously said that releasing one of their records was "a fantasy" of his. He also said he looks up to musicians rather than those in his own trade.
Wood told Empire Magazine: "I tend to get more nervous and excited meeting people from music - I think I idolise musicians more than I idolise actors."
However, Wood revealed that one Hollywood industry veteran - Star Wars creator George Lucas - made a huge impression on him as a child.
"I met George Lucas when I was ten years old, I think, nine or ten, and that was everything to me because I grew up watching Star Wars," he recalled.
"I knew who he was, it was hugely significant."
As well as starring in the third season of FX comedy Wilfred, the 32-year-old actor plays a serial killer alongside Amanda Seyfried in horror Maniac.

And random the only time I was star struck was when I met Henry Rollins. And mostly because he was as shy as me and I was so surprised by it.

Starstruck is a huge understatement, I'd be fucking paralysed!
I was starstruck when I met Henry Rollins. I also saw Hugh Jackman when he was filming Oprah in Australia and his beauty stopped me in my tracks.
The only celebrities I've met were President Obama and Oprah and both were at (different) events so they were on their very best behavior and I didn't get too starstruck. Obama comes across like your best friend's cool dad and Oprah seemed like a cool aunt or one of your mom's fun girlfriends.
If I had to describe my perfect like, celebrity encounter...it would be meeting Elijah at a Smashing Pumpkins concert (and lets do circa 1997, my fantasy, I can pick the year). My fav actor + fav band = heaven
