Is Bill in love with Brooke?!
Brooke is back and as usual in everyone's business when she plans a cliff side wedding for Liam and Hope. It would be nice if they knew about it, but that doesn't stop Brooke, has anything ever stopped Brooke? Of course Hope is thrilled but Liam isn't really excited at the moment but ends up getting into it since Steffy hasn't been too friendly with him as of late. So he figures what the hell. Steffy makes her move after she looks at the ultrasound and rushes to the house to try tell Liam and finds out he's getting married! Of course Liam is not happy with ether one of them and the three have it out. But enter Oliver who just may sweep Hope off her feet once again. He has always wanted Hope which he makes very clear. We just may be seeing a return of Hope and Oliver because Brad has found out that another one of his long-termers has hinted that they may want out and if that is the case he needs a back up plan. Let's say a triangle is going to be ending soon if this happens and a reverse triangle begins.
I know I have been mentioning Ridge for some time now and we were hoping to see him this month, but as usual Bell has changed his mind once again and has decided to put that on hold. Why? Several reasons, Brad is enjoying the higher ratings he's getting now with the different stories and two to see if Moss's new movie venture ala James Bond is going to flop and Ronnie will come begging for his job back.
Big story coming up for Melody Thomas when Nikki is diagnosed with an incurable disease. Victoria is the first to notice and Nikki pleads with her not to say a word. Victor starts to discuss the wedding and how they will prepare for the big event and that's when Nikki calls the whole thing off much to Victor's surprise. Will Nikki finally tell Victor the truth? Will Victor start to notice the tremors that Nikki is having and will Nikki be cured? This is a soap opera after all, people rise from the dead so an incurable disease is a walk in the park. This storyline will play over the next few months. This mysterious illness will have more symptoms than just tremors. This story line is reportedly going to have many unexpected twists and turns while it plays out. Scott in a recent tweets is very excited about this story as is Braeden.
Jamie will finally come clean and tell the truth that Fen had nothing to do with pushing him off the roof, that he jumped on his own and tried to kill himself. But it doesn't end there when Jamie decides to end it all again and Paul is there to talk him down and off the ledge.
Fen learns that Michael served time in prison for trying to rape Cricket and can't believe it. This is going to be Josh Griffith’s best and most developed storyline yet since taking over the show.
I am hearing that we may see another pregnancy story when Chelsea takes a pregnancy test. Yep that's the buzz. Is it positive or negative? We will know come Valentine's Day.
Kate goes bar hoping after a run in with Stefano and runs into Rafe who is there drowning his own problems over Sami. One thing leads to another and Rafe and Kate end up in bed together.
Will is encouraged when he gets a Valentine's Day gift from Sonny, but that doesn't mean Sonny wants him back.
Poor Kristen still trying to get Brady to say I do, but it's not in the cards as far as Brady is concerned.
Nick is furious when he overhears Lucas advising Will to seek full custody of his child, uses a burn phone to gaslight Lucas with texts about knowing Will shot EJ. While Lucas and Will are trying to figure out who knows about this, Nick, using a recording device he planted on Will, hears and tapes it all.
Is EJ about to pop the question to Sami when she finds a ring in his belongs?
Eric and Nicole have a disagreement over her life choices. Eric warns her not to return if she goes out for a night of sleaze.
Chloe tells Daniel that Jennifer lied about where they were going and Jennifer and Chloe fight over Daniel.
Sonny finds a letter that was written by Will which he had plan on giving him but never did.
I want to mention that alot of the storylines are hinging on the problems between GH and OLTL characters. Laura Wright tweeted recently that the 3 OLTLers are coming back. Whether they are the same characters unknown at this time. I am hearing the lawyers for both parties are really jacking up the hours and are threatening to seek an injunction against GH that could violate their license regarding the characters histories. (Todd, John & Starr) And if this happens it means rewriting any OLTL related events this past year. RC wrote for OLTL characters this past year and it falls under PP's jurisdiction. PP lawyers are attempting to put a stop to RC negating what he wrote for the OLTL characters. Creating brand new characters negates the relationship investments of the past year. Therefore, an idea was floated to make them "imposters" all along. The names would only change. That idea was struck down by PP lawyers who maintained such a rewrite violates/infringes on their license agreement.
Rick Hearst tweeted "I can't believe that the first gig my son Nicholas gets is General Hospital. Coolest thing is, I had nothing to do with it. Hahaha!" It is being rumored that Herbst may be playing Morgan Corinthos..
RC's vision of Laura will be closer to her roots than prior regimes. What they did in Francis's previous comebacks were the worst. There is still an adventurous spirit within her and a strong commitment to fighting for her family. Keep in mind the phrase, "breaking the curse once and for all." and also remember Helena is not finished with Laura ether. Helena's hatred of Laura has not mellowed with age. It is rumored that we will see Nikolas, and a resurrected Cassadine make a comeback. The Spencer/Cassadines feuds rears its head one last time and Helena is right smack dab in the middle. As I mentioned many times the "Ice Princess" revisited coming soon.
Will Lucy team up with John to prove that Caleb does really exist? Will Sam also come to realize that Caleb does exist and save Lucy and Rafe from the vampire king?
