In this one interview, he was detailing why the Ender's Game movie hadn't been made, and recounting all the times Hollywood tried to screw him over, and though I agreed with him on refusing to cave on crucial elements of the story (Ender as a 15 year old with Petra as his love interest? No thank you!) , I remember how fucking smug he sounded as he went, "Oh, I didn't need the money, and if they weren't going to do it my way, it wasn't going to be at all" and stuff like that.
