Katy Perry and Rihanna's friendship has allegedly been ruined as a result of rapper Chris Brown's re-entry into the Barbadian singer's life.
he 28-year-old pop star has been a close friend to the Barbadian-born chart-topper for some years.
Their friendship has now reportedly come to a bitter end following Rihanna's recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, in which she confirmed she is back with her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris.
"Katy was always the one person who could really stand up to Rihanna," a source close to the star told British magazine Grazia.
"When it comes to Chris, Rihanna isn't willing to listen. Katy is still incredibly angry about what Chris did, and she doesn't believe he can change."
The demise of the two US pop princesses' friendship is said to have been in the works for some time. Katy is reportedly concerned about Rihanna's unstoppable hedonistic lifestyle and deeply fears for her health.
Friends say that Katy is so strongly against Rihanna's decision to try again with shamed star Chris that she has washed her hands of her completely now.
"She has stuck her neck out for Rihanna, and so it really hurt when Rihanna ignored her advice. Katy told Rihanna that she couldn't stick around and watch someone she loves make such a big mistake, and that she had to walk away. They haven't spoken for months," the friend revealed. "Chris is like Rihanna's addiction and no one can talk any sense into her."

We were both also on this OTHER council where I was the leader. We ran elections and my friend ran too, but due to certain rules and a few democratic votes we had, even though she put her name in the running for a position by the deadline a different person got elected into the position she wanted through votes though they had not put their name in the running at the appropriate time. Now, I was the leader so I had to go with a) what was best for our council and b) what the majority wanted and I thought my friend understood that. I definitely didn't think she held it against ME specifically
Then later I find out she's created that club we wanted to without telling me, I was no longer a part of it, and all of our mutual friends were executive members. When I confronted her about it she claimed I had told her I was no longer interested in being a part of that club which was complete bullshit.
I just kinda ignored the whole fiasco because i am very live-and-let-live but tbh it was bullshit and the only time I've felt I've been truly backstabbed by someone.
