This is my essay prompt for my class and I'm kind of just staring at it lol:
"Drawing upon various economies of the image, give an account of the way in which vision and visuality have been deeply philosophical and challenging (or problematic) concepts in Western culture. In what ways do you think that understanding the range of issues in vision and visuality lead to a new method of study now called visual culture? You should cite specific examples of art and non-art (?) as well as quote from textual sources to back up your argument."

it's been a good couple months for barely contesting i won a $50 winners gift card from months ago box of target stuff (target's opening here soon and they're doing tons of promo) and today i won a bag o' stuff from chapters on twitter
if you can live through living with dirty people and when it comes time to move out are still on good terms your a saint!
i lived with one of the dirtiest people when i was at university in a flat share i ended up lecturing him like i was his mother at least twice a day. he didnt even have the basics of hygiene or cleanliness.
and not only was he dirty but stupid. my friend (who was the other person we lived with) and i went to a birthday party over the weekend (left friday night came back sunday night) only to find the front door to the flat open and no one else home... he had gone out to work sunday morning and left the font door unlocked. we had tv's, game stations, laptops all this stuff ... so lucky we weren't robbed.
i feel like i'd get so bored living on my own i just came back from living two weeks with my on/off fwb and when he was out all day and stayed overnight somewhere, i was just so damn bored alone
but i'll definitely live with someone i know and who i know isn't a dirty idiot
Preach. My roommate left alfrado in a pot for a week and I hardly use the stove so I didn't see it until she was like: Oh I should take out the trash, let me dump this.
It's my momma's birthday this weekend. She's half Flip so I went to the Asian food market today and bought lumpia wrappers (gonna make lumpia with ground turkey). I also bought these amazing gems:
omg wasabi peas. Reminds me of that time my dad was arguing with me about something and thought he won and he smugly tossed one in his mouth and suddenly his face changed and he was like "wwwwWWWHOOOAA!!" because he didn't realise how strong the wasabi was going to be :')
Ugh, I feel you. I literally only like Sloan (because of the layout) and maybe Holy Cow, because the DJ is great. I heard good things about The Grand but I've never been. Which gay clubs do you go to?
cafe (never again though, that place has gotten sleazier if possible), bootie sf (which i guess isn't really just a gay club but feels close enough), and a couple others i forget the names of (usually i just get dragged door to door lol).
have you been to the endup? i'm intrigued because it's open til 4am but no idea if it's worth checking out otherwise.
also i hate how every club plays house/electronic music nonstop. just give me my fucking top 40 remixes, i'm tacky like that.

The entire cast kills me in the best way. Claire is one of my favs to hate. I kind of hate everyone though and I'm okay with it. lol.
