Disney Rabbit Racist? Lawsuit Says Yes!



Is a Disney rabbit racist? That's what a San Diego family claims, after an incident at Disneyland ruined their trip.

Six-year-old Jason Black Jr. tried to approach the White Rabbit from Disney's Alice In Wonderland, but was apparently rebuked. Jason told Fox 5 San Diego “I went to hug him but he turned his back. It’s made me feel sad because I wanted to really hug him.”

The alleged Disney rabbit racist pushed Jason and his brother away, and the family claims it is because they are African-American. The family claims they witnessed the rabbit hug a white family just moments later, and filed suit asking for the employee to be fired and for a public apology from Disney.

two paragraphs of "he didn't hug me so he's racist" is a non-story. "do you find the disney rabbit racist?" really? it reads like a parody. this post is stupid and just another reason for people to complain about wank. post something about racism when it's actually legitimate.

lol seriously, I'm ok with the story itself but idg that question at the end of the post. we're talking about a disney employee who is racist, not the character itself, so I don't know if ontders can say whether "the white rabbit is racist" unless they've had an incident with costumed disney employees before.

exactly. my issue isn't with the story itself, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the *actor* were in fact racist. my issue is with this shitty piece of journalism that provides no details and uses "disney rabbit" instead of "actor" as a way to mock the claims. this particular article was clearly posted to start wank and I'm nhf giving the ignorant members of ontd justification for dismissing all the other real, fleshed out issues that get posted.
