I couldn't with him in the Princess Diaries days because I hated his characters because MIA AND MICHAEL WERE PERFECT.

UGH I got SO mad when they didn't bring Michael back for the second movie. I mean, I could have done without Pine but without Michael, no, I couldn't.

But they brought little miss sunshine in and that part was adorable.

mte. I remember being so bitter when I watched it the first time I didn't even want to finish it. They end up together in my mind.

I liked Mia and Michael a lot, but I thought it was more ~realistic (as realistic as a book/movie about THE KINGDOM OF GENOVIA can be anyway) that they didn't end up being true loves or anything. It was a sweet high school romance/first love sort of thing, but for her to marry him years later, after college and everything she's been through as princess? IDK about that.
