smh when will KKK-Pop learn? first they act racist, do blackface and use racial slurs, then they steal black ppl's music without getting the proper permission. they need to be STOPPED.

ACTUAL RACISM

is that like "legitimate rape"? does the African American body have ways to shut that whole thing down?
prismboy 7th-Feb-2013 03:51 pm (UTC)
what part of this teaser showcased racism?
koutaishi 7th-Feb-2013 03:53 pm (UTC)
you honestly sound racist and possibly white with these ignorant questions.
prismboy 7th-Feb-2013 03:56 pm (UTC)
I'm latino, and I've experienced racism, thanks. I asked a legitimate question but since you know the answer is no you came up with this stupid comment instead. The real ignorant here is you tbqh. I'm not gonna lie and say that the K-pop industry hasn't done ignorant/bigoted/racist shit but clearly this isn't one of them.

um, are you trying to say people of Latino heritage cannot be white? smdh, Latinos can be any race. how ignorant can you get. whiteness confirmed, move along.

I never said that. I just said I'm latino and I've experienced racism. It's adorable how you put words in my mouth. Keep trying honey, xoxo.

i feel like every time someone brings up being latino here, certain people try to downplay anything they may have experienced because yes, some latinos are white. as someone who has worked with immigrants who have light skin but are still easily identifiable as latinos (who aren't really "known" for having darker skin so much as darker features) it's so irritating. can't get much more oppressed than people trying to remove you from a country due to your ethnicity. but since they don't meet the threshold of hue color they don't count as ethnic minorities to some people. essentially, a lot of people equate POC with black.

Especially being Puerto Rican. This caucasian girl came up to me once and told me "You're basically American." (By that she implied that I had no racism issues in the U.S.) Just because I have American citizenship doesn't mean that I'm not Puerto Rican either, we're people of different ethnicities, culture, and language and I've still gotten shit for it in the U.S. Being Puerto Rican doesn't take racism away. We're already suffering from identity crisis I don't need others telling me what I am.

I'm not even that dark-skinned and a caucasian guy called me brown once. Literally. Since I'm an Asian pop culture enthusiast that guy said "It's sad how you love Asians since you're brown." I mean, WTF I've been even being made fun of having a SLIGHT accent!

Thankfully I haven't been a victim of racist acts but I've gotten so many bigoted and stupid comments.

(Oh and note I'm born/raised/currently living in Puerto Rico. I studied in the U.S. for a year in Pennsylvania.)

please tell me how saying 'R. A. I. N-BOW' over a beat constitutes racism and I will retract my statement.
