Despite Campaign Video, Lena Dunham Didn't Vote

A local politics blog says Dunham is registered to vote in Brooklyn but didn't in 2012

Lena Dunham didn't vote in the 2012 elections despite making a widely-discussed video for the Obama campaign, according to New York politics blog Room 8.

"Further, in a Gatemouth exclusive, I can now report that according to New York City's voter file, a Lena Dunham registered in registered in Brooklyn did not vote in the 2012 general election or in any local elections since she moved from her prior address in Tribeca," writes blogger Gatemouth.

Dunham did vote in 2008, but not in 2004.

A representative for Dunham didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

I'm so pissed now that my state is all vote-by-mail that we don't get stickers anymore.

I went to the polls all my life with my parents and was so excited to turn 18 and be able to go to the polls and GET THE STICKER.

And what happens as soon as I turn 18? No more polls! No more stickers!

I mean they could at least mail us a sticker with our ballots, shit

I voted by mail. They should've included the sticker in the envelope they sent me. If they couldn't honestly put "I voted" then it could've been "I received an absentee ballot with the intention of voting"

forget the right to vote; the sign of a true American is the fervor of receiving a free sticker

there was a really large/obvious conservative bias at my polling place and i still maintain i didn't get a sticker because they could tell i was a liberal heathen

the woman with the sticker roll hurried past me and everything
yourlivewire 7th-Feb-2013 06:33 am (UTC)
i've never gotten a goddamn 'i voted' sticker after voting.
schexyschteve 7th-Feb-2013 06:39 am (UTC)

phantom_chini 7th-Feb-2013 06:46 am (UTC)
Our polling place never had stickers. Forever bitter, tbh.
devolute 7th-Feb-2013 06:50 am (UTC)
where i love you vote by mail imo they should send stickers with them that say 'i might have voted!'
chantonii 7th-Feb-2013 11:50 am (UTC)
LOL when I worked at the last Aus election I got told to hand out stickers. Which is dumb because voting is compulsory here. And no one wanted them so I took them all.

I feel like a kid again when I go vote. Yeah hell, I voted, now I get my sticker reward. And I always want it too.
