OMG, i feel so bad for him. he seems to be happy enough and well-adjusted despite everything he's been through. i'm glad he was able to get away and advocates for acceptance and tolerance, and i'm especially glad he doesn't seem to let his family's actions towards him now that he's defected affect him too much.
