Chris Brown is about to arrive to the L.A. Courthouse ... where a judge is expected to grill the singer over allegations he lied about completing his community service ... and things could get heated.
The D.A. wants the court to find Chris in violation of his probation stemming from the Rihanna beating case -- which required the singer to complete 180 days of community service.
We broke the story ... prosecutors believe Chris participated in a scheme to DUPE the court by getting Virginia officials to say Chris completed service at a day care center that he never actually performed.
2:13 PM PT -- The judge ordered Brown to meet with his probation officer in Los Angeles within 48 hours to speak with the officer about the allegations that he fabricated his community service.
The judge said he needed more time to review all of the evidence presented by the D.A.. He also wants to hear from the P.O., after he speaks with Chris. The next hearing has been scheduled for April 5.
2:11 PM PT -- Rihanna and Chris Brown just walked out of the courtroom together arm in arm. One person at the courthouse tells us Brown looked "dejected" ... and Rihanna was trying to smile and cheer him up.
2:05 PM PT -- Rihanna is now inside the courtroom ... seated in the gallery behind Chris and his legal team.
1:59 PM PT -- CHRIS BROWN arrived to the courthouse WITH RIHANNA by his side -- the woman he was convicted of BEATING in 2009 ... and the reason he's on probation in the first place.
Sources at the courthouse tell us Rihanna blew Chris a kiss and said some supportive words to him before he entered the courtroom.
Brown's mother is also at the court.
1:56 PM PT -- Chris is wearing grey slacks with NO BELT, a white shirt, brown tie and a sport coat.
1:50 PM PT -- Brown just arrived to the courthouse with his lawyer Mark Geragos.

Chris Brown can go straight to hell.
Rihanna makes me very sad. I work with victim's of domestic violence and seeing how hard some of my clients fight to get away from their abusers break my heart and then this bullshit is in the news.
If staying with their abusers is a choice made in a vacuum, I'm allowed to say it's a stupid choice.
If abuse victims are manipulated and have Stockholm syndrome, I'm allowed to say that they need to be removed from those situations by other people.
People can do what they want, but no one is obligated to lie and say that anything is a good idea. Respecting the right to choose isn't the same thing as agreeing with every choice, especially if you're in the second scenario I described and your choices aren't freely made.
I work with their divorces so I'm not a therapist. I have therapists I can recommend - and frankly they'd be fucked if I was this super sympathetic character (that isn't to say I'm not sympathetic to a degree). Many judges just don't give a damn and that is the harsh reality.
If I need to tell my client she is getting her ass beat and to get her ass out of the house, I'll do it. It works better that way in the wonderful world of divorce.
NO BELT??? This monster
Is his mom seriously wearing those boots to court?
and she's not the one who's on the chopping block
but yeah her outfit is atrocious lol
Could he not find a matching suit? smdh
why is no belt in caps?
HOW COULD HE NOT WEAR A BELT?
I used to catch a lot of shoplifters working as a manager of a drugstore and had to go to court to represent the store a LOT because of it. It was interesting/depressing listening to the litany of cases before mine.
I remember once seeing a guy get up in front of the judge for domestic violence against his girlfriend and if I remember correctly, a baseball bat was involved and he'd also destroyed her car with the bat.
She was sitting next to him in court just before they called his name--incredibly pregnant and kissing all over him.
I feel sorry for the public employees who have to deal with celebs on a regular basis as part of their job. At least attorneys are (usually) well-compensated for the shit they pull.
his PO is definitely not getting paid enough to deal with this shit.
