I was going to give this show up, but then I heard Travis van Winkle was in last night's episode? As a one-off or as a recurring? I may have to keep watching just for him.
I thought Lemon was damn melodramatic, but I did sort of understand that she was pissed about AB sleeping with Lavon. If she gets over it because AB has always been a good friend, then she's still OK. Otherwise, I'm going to hate her like I did when she was shrill bitch in S1.
Zoe is ~loved by the town and ignores Wade in the process, Brick and his relationship are now known to the town, Annabeth told Lemon about her and Lavon and Lemon went all 'cant believe you're doing this to me' despite her having a boyfriend.
I hate to be that person bc I hate when people are all 'why are you watching this show' but Im coming off the cancelling of Emily Owens soooooo let me rant.
I like this show well enough but it does surprise me that its still on the air. It has ridiculous storylines and a range of boring to insufferable characters (beyond Wade and Levon). Its cute and fun, I get that. I'm just bitter that Emily Owens, with the believable storylines, mulitcultural cast, got canceled.. Wah. Different tastes, I know. Still sad. CW sucks.
Lemon needs to get over herself and Zoe needs to sex up Wade and not let him go to waste
I think Hart of Dixie gets some weird free passes to low ratings, and is supported more by the CW because Josh Schwartz and his little team of GG writers created the show. So unfair because Emily Owens was by far a better and more interesting show, they just never gave it a chance.
I know right. HOD is my guilty pleasure but I loved EOmd too. Last nights ratings had HOD at 1.44 mill and EOmd at 1.49 mill. So sad. And with the writer/creater posting what the future story lines would have been there is zero chance of a miracle renewal. /massivesadface
I don't understand why anyone would want to date Levon. He does a *jawdrop*, mouthbreathing expression at least 85% of the time, which makes him look really stupid. He brags about being mayor, while only doing festival/ceremonial things relating to the job. Brags about having been a football player... and that's about it. Little more to the character.
I actually don't particularly care for Lavon either. I like him most when he's being friends with Zoe/Wade. I really wanted to punch his face when he flipped at Lemon for outing their relationship to Ruby.
100% agree with all of this. When he's just hanging out and being friends and not being controlling, telling people what to do, he's alright. I hate him when he's super-judgmental. He was way too harsh with Lemon. In his eyes, any woman he wants to have sex with is the love of his life.
He has a friendly, goofy quality and can be a good friend *sometimes* but if you're a woman who doesn't want to be with him when he likes/liked you or anyone who disagrees with him, he can get mean and petty pretty quickly.
Oh, and all of Lemon's "No way will that woman be our stepmother!" pronouncements seem like foreshadowing. Wedding in 3,2,1? Or at least an engagement and ~drama~.
Lemon needs to grow the fuck up. Woman you are in your 30's and lowering yourself to your 15 year old sister's level, when it comes to who your dad is dating. I really hope she and Magnolia don't screw tings up for Brick. Yeah, what's her face is over the top, but he looks so cute and happy with her. Let the man be happy. Selfish immature brats.

Zoe should treat Wade much better. I like them together but she gets too high-strung, ignores him sometimes, and is sometimes unkind.
New doctor is obnoxious, seems too obvious they're going for a love/hate thing with Zoe. DNW.
Don't like George and not taking care of the dog = unforgivable IMO but yeah, singing to a dog is a cute thing. Glad they didn't change the lyrics i.e. he sang "please don't take my man".
