I'm hoping Deception doesn't get canceled after one season.

I like it, it's a primetime soap over type of show and I don't like soap operas.

During the show they had a clip for Cult and it looks SO STUPID. Even Robert Knepper can't make me watch that.

I'm not that mad she slept with Will, given you knew it was bound to happen at least once or else she'd never get over him. I just wish the episodes were flipped. She slept with Will and then got all adorable with Micah and everyone was left with happiness.

I was so angry at that ending! At least we do know that a Micah and Emily endgame was planned out.

That was a shitty shitty ending.
I shipped Emily with Micah so badly.

I liked the show. I hope they all get some other work because they were all good imo. Emily got the man she always liked. I'm happy with that even though I liked her with both doctors.

Can't get mad because episode 13 was always supposed to go that way (cancellation or not) but dammit, couldn't they have sneaked in some closure in there somewhere?! AHHHHHH *Hulk Smash*

The "what could have been" tweets are just killing me. Is it better to leave those plot lines unknown or give the fans what they want but have them sad, disappointed, and annoyed at never actually seeing those stories?

What i find interesting is we totally wouldn't have got a real happy ending because she admitted Micah would totally get a text saying his mom died and that Emily would be with him in 22 "but who knows" whatever. This is pathetic but i feel the show blew everything for me with that finale. All the good will, no pun intended went out the window.
Did they not have any time to prepare? Because she said that was always going to be episode 13 they didn't change anything. I'm sorry if they had any time and changed nothing not even a voice over? that's sloppy and a slap in the face to fans. I get that she needed to get over Will by getting him but a simple. "i thought this was what I wanted it wasn't..now I have to go fight for what I do what" or something would have been less insulting. I never expected her to pick MIcah and it to be end game right now but gotdamn if you're getting cut short then figure it out. Don't just leave it as is and assume it's good enough because truth be told it was a mediocre episode all around even aside from that ending.

Lol yeah I'm in the business I know how it usually works. I don't pay attention to the cw. But I know some shows are allowed closure even if the network is over the show and isn't going to throw anymore towards the budget. Ie. last resort got closure. Some shows are allowed to edit voice overs and title cards. I was also pretty sure there were rumors of closure for this show and that they had been canned with at least 2 episodes left to film. But again I didn't pay enough attention.

Yeah I mean even if they were right on budget and couldn't get everyone back. I highly doubt they couldn't have gotten a new voice over in there that provided more REAL closure. Especially with the way the CW was advertising it. I mean I wouldn't be shocked though because so many people thought it was just a season finale. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth all around.

I want this show back! Bah. I hate the CW

they should have just reshot the last scene with micah and so the internets (and myself) would be forever be happier than this since they already knew they were cancelled.

Hi OP! I tried watching this show and it wasn't really my cup of tea. But I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading your posts about this anyway. I hope you get this emotional and invested in another show and make posts like this again :)

I'm still so upset this got cancelled! The CW sucks sometimes. Also, it did better in the ratings than Hart of Dixie did last night, so if that was consistently happening (I don't know if it was or not) then why did they cancel this?! (Although, I shouldn't say that too loudly or The CW will cancel Hart of Dixie next!).

I was so disappointed that it was Will and not Micah who she was with in the end. But since the whole episode was about mistakes, and even as she was sleeping with him the voiceover was talking about mistakes you make when you leap before thinking I was like, "Then Will is the mistake she's making because she didn't think it through! So she's gonna be with Micah, and even though we won't see it we know that she knows she should be with him and we can imagine that's what'll happen next!" lol.

I still haven't watched *TOO DEPRESSED*

lbr CW was always going to cut one of their 3 new shows, it was just a case of who came last even if it was really close and a difference of only 100,000 viewers. They're gonna do the same bullshit next season with all the pilots they are racing up.

That's the only thing that's changed at the CW, they're just being more *stricter* with programming but its still the same deal..

Well it makes me happy to know that if it did continue, Micah/Emily would be endgame.. at least for s1. Man, that Micah and his mom scene in the pilot had me in tears so I'm guessing episode 22 would've killed me.
