Miley Cyrus: I Will Never Have Long Hair Again!


RIP Miley Cyrus' topknot, forever and ever, amen.

The So Undercover star told E! News she does not miss her long locks "in any way" and will forever be a short-haired lady.

"I feel like I had bun every day of my life," the 20-year-old singer-actress said. "I hated the extensions hair—that's sewn into your head. It's creepy."

"You will never see me with long hair again!" the blond beauty proclaimed. "My fiancé [Liam Hemsworth] loves it…It's so easy and [I] don't need to wash it. It looks better grungy and not washing it."

But Miley has bigger things to think about than her hair, y'all! She's planning a wedding and working on her new album.

"[My fans] are dying for new music," she gushed. "So, I'm excited to push play and have the world hear it!"

So are we!

I love having short hair and I always get so annoyed at how up in your business people get about it.

It's always "WHERE'D YOUR PRETTY LONG HAIR GO :(" even if it was a ratty ass mess before.

I was about her age when I chopped mine to about the same length, and I kept it that was for about 10 years. I loved it. I hate how people get all up women's asses about having long hair. I think because they want to be able to pigeonhole people and if people don't fit their mold of 'supposed to' they get all whiny about it. To be honest I had quite a few people give me crap about my hair and no one was worse than other women.

My experience has been the opposite. Women love my short hair while I have heard men make fun of it behind my back and snicker about it. To me my hair is now also a good asshole detector due to it

I'm actually surprised at how many people notice/like my short hair. I'll get like random people coming up to me telling me that it looks really nice and fits my face well. I personally think so as well, so I accept the compliments gracefully lol

yeah, some folks take it a bit too personally. "WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR OHMAGAWD" ..it's usually the ppl that were living vicariously through my long hair, too

I never understood why other people cared so much about my hair/how I look. I used to have very short hair, and people cared a lot.

I had hair down to the middle of my ass until last year. Cut it all off ultra-short, nearly like Miley has it in the OP, and I've actually never had so many compliments on my hair. People loved it. And I think Miley looks cute too.

I've totally seen what you're saying happen to other people tho. Fucking annoying.

I think so many women look better with shorter hairstyles. A really good friend of mine went as tank girl for halloween and chopped all of hers off and she looked absolutely amazing.

Totally agree that many women look better with shorter hair. Dramatic hair statements often tend to mark confidence in a woman.

But maybe I am just living vicariously through women with pixie cuts.

Tank Girl's haircut is the fucking best. If my ears didn't stick out and my face were a bit softer, I'd be donning it in a second.

Same. I grew my hair out, too, and I hate having long hair. I've hardly ever had long hair in my life, so I was just curious. i think I'm going to get a bob soon and then possibly go back to a pixie cut later. Not looking forward to people being asses to me about it again, though. /: But my long hair is a mess; it so does not make me feel more attractive.
