Miley Cyrus: I Will Never Have Long Hair Again!


RIP Miley Cyrus' topknot, forever and ever, amen.

The So Undercover star told E! News she does not miss her long locks "in any way" and will forever be a short-haired lady.

"I feel like I had bun every day of my life," the 20-year-old singer-actress said. "I hated the extensions hair—that's sewn into your head. It's creepy."

"You will never see me with long hair again!" the blond beauty proclaimed. "My fiancé [Liam Hemsworth] loves it…It's so easy and [I] don't need to wash it. It looks better grungy and not washing it."

But Miley has bigger things to think about than her hair, y'all! She's planning a wedding and working on her new album.

"[My fans] are dying for new music," she gushed. "So, I'm excited to push play and have the world hear it!"

So are we!

If she went chocolate brown, it wouldn't age her so much. She has the wrong head shape. It's like a pea.

this is surprising to hear considering she always came off as one of those "I need long hair or I'll die" kind of girls to me. maybe someone was forcing her to keep those ratty extensions in? idk.

My hair is mid-back right now and I'm thinking about cutting it but I don't know what to do. I want to keep the length but it's so much trouble.

Can this be a hair post tho?
I have curly hair and when it's natural it's right at the top of my butt, when it's straightened it's past the middle of my butt. I want to get a hair cut/new style (I've only ever had layers) and the shortest it's ever been is shoulder length. Suggestions?

well I like a big ol mess of hair, especially when it's curly, so I would keep it long if it were me (but to the butt would be overkill lol). an inch or two past the boobs/to the middle of the back is my favorite length but for something shorter, a couple inches past the collar bone is a nice look too.

your options are pretty slim with curls that tight. it is either keep it long or layer it at whatever length you want to go to

You could try henna to loosen up your curl pattern a bit? It would also help it get thicker/more voluminous, change up the color a tad. Maybe cut it to more hip length. I don't know, but you're lucky to have a lot to work with. Mine is pretty similar to that because I went natural last year. But I'm working on growing it out/making it thicker.

I still think she's going to grow out of this. I remember being 19/20 and I had all types of crazy ideas like this that didn't make it past 22.

I did the Mia Farrow Rosemary's Baby deal about two years ago and now I just keep variations of it. It was a great decision and I can't ever see myself having longer hair again. And she's right, it's soooo easy. Except I do have to wash mine because it gets greasy after one day.

Her hair really emphasizes her face, but not in a good way. Sometimes the yellow contrasts with the red in her skin making her face look like a used tissue.
