'Jem' Collector Dolls Are Getting The Band Back Together With Series 2: The Holograms



As you might already know, we're a pretty obsessive group here at ComicsAlliance, and one of our biggest obsessions is Jem and the Holograms, the truly outrageous story of a glam band built on a secret identities and bizarre adventures. Naturally, we were all pretty stoked when Integrity Toys launched their new series of pricey Jem collector dolls, although to be honest, that first wave felt a little lacking. Sure, Jerrica and her alter-ego are a must, but Rio and Synergy? C'mon. This ain't amateur night.

Yay! Forever my remaining childhood obsession. I sort of want to be Jem every year for Halloween since it went over so well at the bars I went to.

They really were, my Mom kept mine I might have Pizzaz somewhere as well and I know I have the Starlight stage or whatever it was called. I don't think I can ever get rid of that stuff tbh, it was the happiest part of my childhood :)

That's why I prefered Riot, they tried to make him a jerk but he was only interested in Jem and never looked twice at anyone else

My sister had a Stormer doll back in the day, and I was insanely jealous. The only thing that kept it out of my grabby little hands was the fact that the doll was too bug for barbie clothes.

I watched the Music and Dance episode awhile back when they go to Yugoslavia and realized the song they do is pretty much about the Berlin Wall and uniting east and west, it was pretty cool because the episode came out in 1986 and the wall came down in '89.

LOVE Christy Marx (creator of Jem). She's doing great on Sword of Sorcery and I'm excited for her to take over Birds of Prey.

The Kimber doll from the 80s look so much better than this one. I'm glad my mom doesn't throw anything out.

Ugh, this sucks. I hate Jem but loved The Misfits (The Stingers were my second fave). So I am in deep trouble (aka. I will be broke as fuck) when The Misfits and The Stingers dolls are released...
