It's Official! Britney Spears to Appear in Las Vegas

“Extra” can exclusively confirm that Britney Spears is definitely heading to Las Vegas for a new show.

Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, told “Extra” that the Sin City show is set, with a choice between two casinos, one of which is part of Caesars Entertainment Group. The deal will be finalized once Britney’s team decides on the casino.

The pop star has been in negotiations for several months to set up shop in Las Vegas. A formal announcement is expected in the next few weeks.

Yes, but Madonna's career really took off when she was 25/26 while Britney's started at 16/17. Madonna was still at the apex of her career during that tour.

its been sad to me how britney really tried to act like she had confidence and thought she was fierce during femme fatale but clearly didnt. blonde ambition was madonna's best era because she knew EXACTLY what she wanted, was at the top of her game etc.

i really wish i could have been old enough to see madge then sigh

also any fan that sees this as promo is actually needs help... there will be like a show okay they will record numerous of shows and pick one they feel looks best. That recording will be shown maybe once and that's it (After it's edited and completed). How is that promo? Even with FF she went on acouple shows on abc and did an mtv special.

i agree but her fans have always been so dumb towards how shittily her management has handled her career post breakdown. larry has clearly only had one thing on his mind and that is money. she's doing a lot to ruin her legacy performance wise but he's digging the grave deeper with these terrible stints on x factor and casinos.

I love Brit, I do. But honestly I cant see her putting on a great performance night after night. I saw Celine Dion on her first Vegas run and she was phenomenal.

This could turn out to be a good thing. This is just like any other tour, just her fans are the ones traveling and not her. She gets to just stay in one place and perform during the nights. It's probably the best situation FOR HER.

I'm curious to see how she'll do. At this point I can't see her putting on an excellent powerful show every night. If you look at her FF-Tour there were a few nights were she here and there had that spark back and seemingly put energy into it but most of the time that wasn't the case.
But maybe she'll surprise everyone, she seems so happy lately, so maybe she found the love to perform again.
I still think this deal comes too early into her career and I can't @ her stans. If this would be any other popstar you would be mocking that popstar for doing this.

I wonder if she'll end up at Imperial Palace/The Quad, since it's a Caesars property and they're currently in the midst of gutting it and completely renovating it. Planet Hollywood seems like the perfect fit for her, but I don't know how they'd pull that off with Peepshow still running.

On another note, every time this rumor has been posted, I've gotten a call for job interview in Vegas. Brit, don't fail me now!
