hey y'all. 4 major things in my life rn

1. i finally asked my crush out to dinner. nothing fancy, just dinner in the dining hall. he probs thinks it's just a friend thing but oh well let's see how it goes.
2. i start work tomorrow yay! finally getting paid for the first time since october.
3. just dropped a class. too bad i have to pay $20 for it.
4. i turned in all of my summer applications friday but one of my recommendation letter writers didn't send it to some of them >:( i'm tired of nagging him.

lab research. if i don't get into programs i'll just stay on campus and keep working in my lab. asking for letters isn't bad; it's the making sure they're on their shit part that is annoying.

My weekend was pretty good..to say the least.

I am at work and am feeling really under the weather.. it's not even a cold, I just want to sleep. I keep making mistakes. Not good.

Also, there's a patient waiting here for his mother to come back to pick him up. He's blind so he needs her there... but she keeps leaving him in our office for hours at a time, and he sits here and mutters swears to himself. He got sick last week with a fever, and the mother kept blaming us for that, demanding to know why we gave him a root canal, why we didn't consult with her (he's in his 40's, by the way), and that she now has to miss her vacation because of us... We, as well as his physician), kept telling her that it had nothing to do with us, that he just caught the flu... but she won't fucking listen.

ugh, I got a script for adderall two weeks ago and because it makes me lose my appetite (which is weird, cus I live to eat), it stops working after a few hours unless I eat something and food doesn't sound appetizing! I still try to eat though cus otherwise my brain feels like a balloon.

Can you tell I need to eat right now? haha.

So there's a group of us at work who are moving towards being our parents' caregivers. Today someone asked how you deal with an elderly parent who continues to enable one of your siblings. I honestly have no idea how I'd deal tbh.

I still hate everything

I am so fuzzy-headed when I get into work in the morning, despite getting plenty of sleep. I DON'T UNDERSTAND. And I've been here for like 3 hours and am still fuzzy as fuck. Whyyyyy.

I've been like this for weeks/months though. :( I've cut out caffeine and weaning off depression/anxiety meds, so I'm wondering if that's it.

I love Carson on Downton Abbey but last night I wanted to slap him.
