Justin is so not over Britney! At the DirecTV Super Bowl party on Feb. 2, the ‘Suit & Tie’ singer referred to Britney as a ‘bitch’ for cheating on him back in 2002.
Justin Timberlake rocked the house at the Super Bowl DirecTV party on Feb. 2, performing “Suit & Tie” alongside Jay-Z, introducing new songs from his upcoming album and blasting his ex Britney Spears, calling her a “bitch!”
A HollywoodLife.com reporter, who attended the event, told us that before performing “Cry Me A River,” Justin, 32, said, ”Sometimes in life, you think you found the one. But then one day you find out, that she is just some bitch!” Wow!

Not that I'm saying he did not love her back, but Justin was still keeping his options open for a long time; he was seen with other girls that same time period (Veronica Finn, Tonya Mitchell, Tatyana Ali, etc). IMO Britney was very liberal and didn't mind him seeing other girls. Which makes his bitchfit in 2002 all the more irritating.
September 21st, 2000 - E! Online’s Ted Casablanca reveals Justin and Britney are still house hunting, we presume in Los Angeles. Ted also shares that Tatyana Ali and Justin attended Continental’s new weekly Game Night recently. In addition, Justin has been hanging at home in Millington, Tennessee where he was with his stepdad at the Sonic Drive-In burger chain in nearby Covington.

So technically speaking, I would say he and Brit were only serious for the last year and a half of their relationship.
That's why his ~melodramatic Barbara Walters interview makes me roll my eyes. It was such a plea for sympathy. The way he was speaking you'd think they were dating since they were 12 yrs old in MMC and never looked back. Girl bye, lol. He fell in love with at least two other girls since than.
