MAC Cosmetics' Unveils Betty & Veronica Collection Based on the Archie Icons!

MAC Cosmetics will be launching their Archie Comics collection just in time for Valentine's Day, featuring makeup products inspired by Riverdale's own Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge. Known for their critically acclaimed beauty products and collaborations with pop culture icons (including Hello Kitty, Barbie, and Wonder Woman), MAC Cosmetics' Archie Comics products will feature exclusive new shades and special edition accessories. However, the most unique feature of this collection is that the products are evenly split (like Archie's heart) to suit either the Girl-Next-Door (sweet candy shades of pink and peach) or the Sophisticated Fashionista (deep vixen tones of red and purple).

use a shade that suits your skin tone. nothing to dark.


and be sure to tap off any excess on the brush before applying to ur face. blend well! and go from the apples of ur cheeks to ur temples. always start with a little, and build up if u feel like u need more.


use a good quality brush w/ soft bristles that is poofy. never that flat-ish brush that usually comes in a blush compact.

Personally, I'm a visual learner and I feel simply watching Lisa Eldridge's videos helps sooo much! She really goes in depth with makeup. She has a video dedicated to liquid blush here, but I think she forgot to do cream and powder one lol. But she really does great job of explaining her steps and helped me out a lot. I no longer look clownish in pictures when I put on blush because of her.

I use their all over color sticks as a highlighter! But they don't sell as many pretty colors where I live. But yeah their quality is way better.

I really like wet n wild blushes and bronzers. It's so pigmented and its really cheap.

SO surprised to see this post on ONTD!

I placed my order on Wednesday as soon as things were posted, so lucky I was in lecture with a laptop.

I'm quite surprised that the Canadian website sold out things more quickly than the American site, perhaps because we have less stock?

Both sets seem kind of super meh. Like nothing stnadout or what I would associate with them. And does only Veronica get an eyeshadow pallet? The colors or decent.

I'm looking forward to hopefully taking a trip to SF this month to go see Manson, but at the same time, will go spend lots of money at Sephora and Kryolan. I need to get some more SFX make-up and then things to build up make-up kit.

Shouldn't Betty get the "Boyfriend Stealer" lipstick? From what I remember Veronica was most always the actual girlfriend while Betty just mooned and took any leftover scraps Archie threw her way.

I still liked her though and wished she and Reggie would've hooked up.
