One of the worst things is walking across hardwood or vinyl floors or you know, basically not carpet, and finding out someone must have recently been spraying Pledge or whatever and some got on the floor and you go sliding. Be careful with that stuff, people!
when my parents first installed wooden stairs, I was the first to bless them by slipping down 5 steps. hurt my hip for a few months after that. I hit my hip on every step on the way down.
I managed to sprain both my ankles (one of which I had torn ligaments, and with a bonus broken bone in the same foot) the week before Thanksgiving missing the bottom step of my dad's porch (which, of course, I had managed to navigate thousands of times without incident).
Oh, and this happened the day after I was laid off from my job and so I had 2 weeks to move out of my apartment. :\
I saw Pray for Demi on twitter and I thought she was seriously injured, but then I saw it was about her foot and I just thought people had too much time on their hands.
