You guys, just woah. 2013. peace out January. um. wow.

My boss was laid off yesterday. It was all very unexpected. He had 2 assistants, another girl & myself. Apparently it all came down to money and he made a lot.

Like, right now. We don't have a boss. My coworker & I. We're in the abyss.

Speaking of ~abyss~ I have less than 4 weeks until my lease is up! My boyfriend and I are breaking up. He said I can sleep on his couch if I don't find a place..or if something happens with my...job.

I feel a little overwhelmed.

lol actually, it's weird because my boss was already in another state. My coworker is across the country from me. We all work in different offices already. I'm already a "transplant" in my office. Ugh, it's just so awk because I hate being there and my boss isn't really there so I slip out early and come in late all the time. lol.

That happened at my work. They kept delaying hiring someone, and we were manager-less *forever.* I got promoted to assistant manager, which felt like a bullshit attempt to get me to do all the work without paying me, and then shut us down when I started making some real money because it turned out they'd known for months that they were shutting us down and fired the manager early to save money.

*still bitter*
