So the last thing Lana Del Rey is concerned about is whether or not she's got make-up on - focusing instead on her artistic creativity.
The 26-year-old went make-up free as she hit the recording studio in Los Angeles over the weekend, going for a dressed down look as she recorded new tracks to follow on from her latest record Paradise.
Wearing a pair of jeans, zip-up top and red patterned pumps, Lana topped off her casual ensemble with a baseball cap emblazoned with the word 'Hollywood'.
Lana finished off her outfit with a pearl and cross necklace and matching bracelet.
And the stunning redhead's lack of make-up only served to draw attention to her flawless and glowing complexion.
However, while she went without cosmetics, Lana appeared to have upped the glamour with a pair of fake eyelashes.
Inside the studio, Lana appeared pensive as she crooned into the microphone, surrounded by producers and writers.
Earlier this year, Lana opened up about her hopes and dreams for the future in a new interview.
And the singer said that while she loves her music, she is also hoping to expand her charity work with various organisations.
She: 'Helping others now feels like it's my turn to give something back. I want to become a sort of Angelina Jolie.
'Like her, I think fame is nothing in itself, but it can be put to good use - by using it to generate money for charity for example.'
