THANK YOU. I am glad I am not the only who made a comment about Dean's hypocrisy. As soon as he said that, I was like "Dude, you did the same shit, you fucking hypocrite!"
Henry had a family which means yes he should have chosen the family and child over doing what he was doing. Sam doesn't have a family, he just has some boring, selfish married chick whom he never told about himself(he never told her his life prior to meeting her, he's essentially lying to her and he knows that's dangerous given their past).
By having a family, Henry had, or should have chosen, but instead he was still doing this. He was trying to have it both ways.
Wow, I have way too many John Winchester Feels. That is ridic. But while the "men of letters" thing felt a little retcon-y, it did help the whole John/Mary destined-to-be-together thing, and I quite like the idea that it was John's side that was the "brains" and Mary's the "brawn" (since obvs it's usually the other way around with a male/female). Henry was sort of adorbs, though, and he was giving me some Harry Lloyd realness in a few scenes, which is always welcome. And was that supposed to be a Mad Men thing? With Henry swanning around in a fedora and stuff and then encountering a hot redheaded lady? No? Maybe?
(My roommate, who doesn't watch the show: "What's with the Batman voice?" Me: "That's just how [Dean] rolls.")
I totally noticed that dude looked like Harry Lloyd.
I loved this episode. LOVED. It really explains a lot about Sam, in particular, I think. I just read some spoilers about where they're going with this over on TVLine and I am very encouraged right now!
Mostly when he was...y'know, dying. I was like "dammit, stick around! You're attractive!" But then again, how could anyone related to John be otherwise. In retrospect I can't believe we didn't hear more about Henry before, given the strong father/son themes all up in there. But I'm all for time travel, so. \o/
Ahhh, don't tempt me with spoilers! :D But I'm liking this season, definitely more than last season, so that's encouraging.
Really stunned by the scatology in SPN's upcoming episodes. It's all at Sera's behest because she wants to "push the envelope" and "see how much [her show's] fans can take." I know that Jense went to the CW brass with his objections and got laughed out of the room. Jared, as always, is just there to cash a check--he checks out and goes home to his drunk wife and that poor baby of theirs. Well, this is his last season anyway.
At this point, romantic or platonic (whatever, I don't care) Stephen Amell has much better chemistry with Emily Brett Rickards than with Katie Cassidy.
Loved their final scene.
But am I supposed to believe that Felicity is also a forensic lab tech? Arrow writers, computer science and chemistry are not the same think, okay?
After watching Smallville and loving the adorable, smart, kickass sidekick who had better chemistry with the lead than the cannon love interest, I will not be fooled again with Arrow. Felicity reminds me a lot of Chloe.
I completely agree with you on Felicity. Katie Cassidy's character seems so pointless, and I normally love her, but the writing for her is not good at all.
And he's going to be even more over the top cray when they inevitably bring him back, since Oliver fried his brain with Vertigo. :\ Maybe it'll sort out his accent? I'm still trying to figure out wtf that was supposed to be.
I know nothing about the comics, so when they said he was called The Count, I thought Sesame Street. And then I hoped they'd go there with the accent.
I found it odd that he was talking that way, I thought maybe Cas somehow escaped and switched bodies. That makes absolutely no sense but that's my brain.
I haven't finished Arrow or watched SPN yet, but oh my god I'm live tweeting Arrow and said "Is that Luna from True Blood on #Arrow? She is so god damn hot." and Janina Gavankar favorited it. I am SO glad I didn't add the part about having seen her boobs.
Watching Arrow now..well it's almost over but lawd. Seth, Seth, Seth as a fringe fan i know you can act. When Stephen is out acting you in your scenes..sir..no.
Also I love digs more and more by the week and Felcity is my queen on this show. I'm digging Luna/Papi on this show.
"DAMMIT, HENRY, HOW DARE YOU CHOOSE MONSTER FIGHTING OVER YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!"
Ah. Supernatural writers. You never fail to disappoint.

For her and for the guest actors. They've got a pretty decent line up of who's who in sci-fi television.

And also: Jensen got laughed out of the room? With his objections to what? What do you mean scatology?
... what is going on in this show? (haven't watched this season)

However, Chloe did end up with the hooded archer himself in the end so.....

Even though I love him so very much.
This next episode....idk man lmao
