A Beautiful Game of Thrones Spoiler

While we wait with bated breath for the season’s first trailer, here are a few Game of Thrones news items to tide you over.

- The show added another award to its impressive collection, winning Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series at the SAG Awards this week.

- Throne Con II went off without a hitch in London last weekend. Finn Jones, Rory McCann, Kristian Nairn, Gemma Whelan, Josef Altin, Miltos Yerolemou and Daniel Portman made appearances and mingled with fans. According to this article covering the event, Rory McCann performed “Hound Dog” on a ukulele for the audience!

Tyrion will prob kill her early on. Or she'll die some other way. Maybe a drunken Cersei will push her off a cliff and she'll fall to her death and be found the next day washed up on shore. Or Cersei will push her off when she's sober because she wants Sansa to suffer. idk

I actually watched that whole Experts show. The Game of Thrones fan was cute, and the NSYNC stan was obnoxious. I think I know more about the NFL than the NFL expert...

Those Game of Thrones questions were like... basic knowledge lol I was sitting there and there was only one I didn't know. But like... who's the blind guy? SERIOUSLY. THAT'S HARD? Even the 'hardest question in the world' was easy lol

also I don't know why you'd pick an expertise like 'NFL' it's far too broad and yeah NSYNC-stan was super obnoxious 'HERE'S WAY MORE INFORMATION THAN YOU NEED WHAT UP' and then 'Treasure Island - BAM' and as soon as she said it I was so gleeful cause I knew it was wrong.

Basically, it's a theory that there was a whole plot to unseat the Targaryens way before Robert's Rebellion and that the plot was orchestrated by the Starks, Tullys, Arryns, etc. They were supposedly pushed on to this by the maester of the old lord of Winterfell and the Citadel who also had something against the Targaryens and did not want Rhaegar to fulfill the three heads of the dragon prophecy. That's only like half of it, I haven't finished the thread yet.

I'm going to try and pretend that I don't know thing when I watch this season. I just want to see my favs and enjoy the talent that is Sophie Turner. Jamie & Brienne ftw. I am half excited for the Arya and Sandor adventure, but knowing how "weak" his character is compared to the book just makes me frustrated because he's supposed to be a fucked up person and they don't really show it that well (because that would mean giving Sansa screen time and exploring her character and we can't have that can we oh nooo).

he's creepy but he's also too damn nice. he's appropriately fucked up in the books and they're sugar coating him on the show just as bad as tyrion.

i will forever hate D&W for giving his back story reveal to littlefinger.

All that has always pissed me off. i know I'm in the minority here because I am a Sandor fan, but what I enjoy about his character is that he is legitimately fucked up and the book doesn't try to sugar coat it or reduce it. Yes, he may have had a very fucked up life, but he makes his own choices to be the man he is. That's how you write a good complex character.

He and Tyrion have been let down so much by D&D taking so much about what made them grey away.

Girl, don't even get me started. That is such a character defining scene, I don't know what they were thinking.
