Little Mix Ready to Conquer America

The 'Wings' hitmakers rose to fame in 2011 when they became the first group to win The X Factor, and after a string of successful singles and a smash hit debut album, Little Mix are already gearing up to conquer the US.

Little Mix are hoping to crack the states this year like their pals One Direction

Speaking out their legions of fans, member Jesy Nelson says they don't have many male fans and are similar to teen sensation Justin Bieber in that sense.

“It's mostly teenage girls at our shows so I do feel like I'm Justin Bieber. It's really strange,” Jesy told the Daily Star.

“We were hoping it might happen, but realistically girl bands never really have that kind of following - you know, people banging on car windows.”

Perrie Edwards chimed in: “There are girls everywhere and the best thing is they know all the words, all the raps. We get so emotional hearing them on stage we just cry.”

Lead singer Perrie says the girls will be pulling out all the stops to break into the US market. “We will be going there and working our bums off,” she admitted.

“We want to be so successful so we'll be doing everything we can to break there. We want to be huge.”

Jade Thirwall added: “'Wings' was written with the US in mind. We have an album that will travel well. We have big ambitions.”

The four-piece are currently in the midst of their first UK headline tour, which has so far received rave reviews.

I don't care if they flop here...I just need to see them live at least once

They also have a huge announcement for tomorrow. It's probably gonna be something stupid, but I'm excited nonetheless

I've always wondered why they didn't.. especially with Tangled Up. They tried Australia and China.

It's because they didn't do as well as they wanted in Australia so they gave up trying internationally

Probably costs the label millions of trying to break these acts in the States, and I guess they didn't see the potential.

The girls said something about how they didn't really want to start over from scratch & they liked being relatively unknown here.
