SAN ANTONIO -- H-E-B is trying to dispel a few Texas myths in a Super Bowl ad featuring Texas native and country music star Jack Ingram.

Ingram starts out the commercial by explaining that he hears a lot of the typical Texas stereotypes while touring the country. You know, like
how all Texans wear belt buckles, ride horses to work and eat barbecue for every meal.

A sneak preview of the commercial was released on Wednesday.

WATCH:

The San Antonio-based grocery chain will also be launching a social media campaign asking people to tweet what they think makes a
#truetexan.

I remember once going to Florida and being so disappointed that there wasn't an H-E-B. But seriously, I've legit had kids in school who were from other states literally think that we (Texans) took carriages/horses to school. LOL

I miss their everything, but I especially miss their loose leaf tea selection. Whole Foods doesn't carry loose leaf tea and it breaks my tea snob heart.

I used to get my loose leaf tea at Albertsons. The only thing I'd go in those stank places to buy but they're all gone now I think.

Yeah there was one near my parent's house but it's a WalMart now.

When I go home to visit I still sneak go to Central Market while my mom grocery shops and sneak some tea. The wild mint tea they get is heavenly.

Ok maybe I am confused... Is Central Market not the Walmart brand grocery stores? Because I have been avoiding those but if they have some badass tea I will have to reevaluate my prejudice.

Central Market is owned by HEB, WalMart has Neighborhood Markets.

Central markets are like Whole Foods on crack. They are seriously the greatest.

Oh yeah, Neighborhood Market, that's the one I avoid. Hmm I will have to look up Central Market then and see where one is here. Whole Foods isn't as close to me as I'd like so I usually go to a Sprouts but they are pretty tiny.
