Super Bowl Ad Tries to Dispel "Texan Myths"


H-E-B Super Bowl ad takes on 'True Texan' myths

SAN ANTONIO -- H-E-B is trying to dispel a few Texas myths in a Super Bowl ad featuring Texas native and country music star Jack Ingram.

Ingram starts out the commercial by explaining that he hears a lot of the typical Texas stereotypes while touring the country. You know, like
how all Texans wear belt buckles, ride horses to work and eat barbecue for every meal.

A sneak preview of the commercial was released on Wednesday.

I remember once going to Florida and being so disappointed that there wasn't an H-E-B. But seriously, I've legit had kids in school who were from other states literally think that we (Texans) took carriages/horses to school. LOL

There aren't any HEBs in Dallas but there were a ton in San Antonio when I went to college.

Central market, Shiner Bock and Blue Bell Ice Cream, and since I am now gluten/lactose free I can't have the last two anymore anyway.

Just walking around that place was like an event.

lol my sister lives in Dallas and she misses the HEB in San Antonio. All she has over there is Tom Thumb, Albertsons, Kroger, Fiesta, Minyard, etc.
