SAN ANTONIO -- H-E-B is trying to dispel a few Texas myths in a Super Bowl ad featuring Texas native and country music star Jack Ingram.

Ingram starts out the commercial by explaining that he hears a lot of the typical Texas stereotypes while touring the country. You know, like
how all Texans wear belt buckles, ride horses to work and eat barbecue for every meal.

A sneak preview of the commercial was released on Wednesday.

WATCH:

The San Antonio-based grocery chain will also be launching a social media campaign asking people to tweet what they think makes a
#truetexan.

I remember once going to Florida and being so disappointed that there wasn't an H-E-B. But seriously, I've legit had kids in school who were from other states literally think that we (Texans) took carriages/horses to school. LOL

I never really went until I started college in Austin. There was even one back in my hometown. The HEBs in Austin were better than my hometown's dinky one, though. Then I found Whole Foods and Central Market so I started going there.

If you've been to Central Market, you're still going to HEB. I love that the CM brands have made their way to the regular HEBs.

Obviously I know that CM and HEB are owned by the same company. CM just has more to offer than HEB in terms of non-HEB or typical products. Most HEBs I've been to outside of Houston and Austin don't even have organics or natural selections.
