Super Bowl Ad Tries to Dispel "Texan Myths"


H-E-B Super Bowl ad takes on 'True Texan' myths

SAN ANTONIO -- H-E-B is trying to dispel a few Texas myths in a Super Bowl ad featuring Texas native and country music star Jack Ingram.

Ingram starts out the commercial by explaining that he hears a lot of the typical Texas stereotypes while touring the country. You know, like
how all Texans wear belt buckles, ride horses to work and eat barbecue for every meal.

A sneak preview of the commercial was released on Wednesday.

I remember once going to Florida and being so disappointed that there wasn't an H-E-B. But seriously, I've legit had kids in school who were from other states literally think that we (Texans) took carriages/horses to school. LOL

Heh, that line about "not getting it" if you're not from Texas... Very true. I've never even heard of HEB.

HEB is a family owned grocery store that is located in Texas with a few stores that they opened in Mexico as well.
