Lindsay Lohan is making a mad dash to appear in court this morning ... hoping to dodge an arrest warrant.
TMZ broke the story ... Lindsay planned on being a no-show today when her case is called at 8:30 AM, claiming she had an upper respiratory infection.
But her excuse didn't fly because ... Lindsay was shopping up a storm and smoking the day she got the doctor's note ... and TMZ got the pics of LiLo in action.
So Lindsay is racing to court with her layer Mark Heller, who may have his own problems getting permission to represent Lindsay in Lohan's "lying to cops" case.
Judge Stephanie Sautner may kick some serious butt ... and we'll be there Livestreaming when court begins.
8:39 AM PT -- Lindsay just arrived to court with her mother Dina and her new lawyer Mark Heller. We're hearing that court will begin at 9:00 AM sharp.
9:27 AM PT -- Heller is currently inside the courthouse and is exected to come out to address the media ... because he can't help himself.

The judge also laid down the ominous fact -- that Lindsay could be found not guilty in the lying case, and her probation in the jewelry case could still be violated since the standard of proof is lower.
The Judge set March 1 as the next hearing.
FYI -- for whoever cares, Lindsay wore Chanel to court today with Celine shades ... and Louboutins on her feet, obviously.

Jesus, I'm having to simply listen to the audio to know when she arrives because the camera work is so atrocious. The antibiotics I'm on for my sinus infection are making me nauseous enough already *Sigh* This definitely isn't helping.
