Hundreds of death threats to waitress who slept with One Direction's Zayn

THE waitress who slept with One Direction’s Zayn Malik received hundreds of death threats after his pal posted her mobile number online.

Courtney Webb, 21, was reduced to tears when she was bombarded with calls and furious messages.
She said: “I was expecting some abuse but it has got out of control. I’ve had hundreds of calls from all over the world.

“One American girl left me six voicemails in an hour saying she was going to kill me. It’s really scary.”

also, why didn't she just turn off her phone? it's a hassle, but as soon as I saw the tweet/got the first message, I would have turned off my phone and got a new number/cancelled the old one or whatever.

If it was her private number, she might have family/friends using it. And it takes awhile to transfer numbers/contacts. Especially depending on when her phone started blowing up - the morning might have been the easiest time. I don't know many people with landlines.

dude, the fact that you have family and friends using your number in a situation as EXTREME as this no longer matters. Shut off your phone and find alternative ways to contact them. If they have numbers, borrow your friend's phone and call them to leave a message about they won't be able to contact your phone in the next little bit. There are logical ways around this LOL give me a break.

This! not at all condoning what Zayn did, it was pretty shitty (esp. when Perrie's always seemed like such an innocent sweetheart) - but that he cheated with someone so trashy (YES I AM JUDGING. JUDGE ME FOR THAT, Y'ALL) makes it worse/more humiliating for Perrie, imo. :(
